Hi!!
i was hoping never to post this but here i am... i have a 1 year old reef and have possible dinos. multiple coral are mad, just xenia, zoas cloves, and a mushroom that are mad.
my parameters are phos, .02 nitrate at 2.5, have a problem keeping these not at 0, about the time i got my phos off 0 (yes yes i know coral need this and it is bad to have it this low but i am trying my best! it just goes away so fast!) but anyways once i had my phos off of 0 these started showing up. i thought they were diatoms so i was like, meh. they stayed on small numbers until i dosed neophos yesterday. they werent that many in the morning but i was out for the day and came back and there were massive amounts. i do not have a microscope so i cant do that, the pics suck, i know, but i am going to get new, better ones in about 30 minutes. there are a lot more in the back of the tank then are shown in the pics. thanks!

its a little late here so i will post pics tomorrow. i checked tonight and they arent really there anymore but i do see some. do you think that diatoms would just randomly pop up in a year old tank?
