I have this new algae starting. Tank is only about 2 months old, I’m not sure if it’s cyano or dinos. It looks like cyano by the carpeting it’s doing but also dinos cause of the bubbles. Tank parameters are:
Phosphate 0.01
Nitrate 2 (in between 2 and 5)
Nitrite 0
Alk 7.8
Ph 8.2-8.4
What should I do to help stop the spread and get rid of it? I also have green hair algae starting all over the place. Current tank inhabitants are 2 clowns and a one spot foxface and I have a royal gramma in qt that I just got yesterday.
thanks in advance

Please post some white light photos of the problem areas so that someone here can get you a positive ID. Treatment options will vary depending on what it is.

If you have access to a scope some photos under magnification would be helpful as well.
