I'm about to dip GSP that came from someone's tank that had flatworms. Do I have to worry about flatworms hiding inside the polyps? Can I dip the GSP with the polyps closed and still be sure to get the flatworms? Or do I need to do the dipping somehow with the polyps extended?

GSP isn't that expensive, I wouldn't have taken it honestly.

But dipping them in Revive or CoralRX or similar should remove them.

I get what you're saying. But I never really know if whoever I get GSP from doesn't have flatworms or whatever. So it seems like only a small improvement in chances of getting something. I was planning on using Bayer.

No. Don't add corals to your tank that come from a tank with pest. That seems like common sense. It's GSP, trust me more will come your way.
