Searched and cannot find anything.

Foxface.
All parameters are pristine. Haven't added anything to the tank in months. Tank is approximately 30 months old.

Can you post a closeup photo of the affected area? Looks like it could be he got scraped up in the rocks, or possibly stung by a coral or nem.

It looks similar to lympho but I've seen and experienced this myself with tangs coming in contact with RBTA and Euphyllia. Usually goes away in a couple days with no scaring.

It looks like he's gotten stung or injured. I would give it the "wait and see" approach. You can add vitamins to his food in the mean time: Selcon, Vitachem ect
