Looking at getting a trio for my 180 gallon reef. Can any one provide any special details concerning them? Not sure if they are aggressive or not, how many can I keep on a 180?

They are a peaceful anthias species. A dozen could easily be kept in a 180. They don't have any special requirements other than they do better in groups and receiving multiple feedings a day.

Agree, and for best results QT free from any other fish as they are shy, get them eating in QT w/out competition first.

Thanks for the replies. Another question, how do you think they would get along with 2 bartletts, one male one female?

Bartletts are more aggressive. Unless the groups were significantly larger I wouldn't mix them.

I've read Bartletts are aggressive, honestly I didn't know that. Are aggressive towards other anthias only or are they aggressive towards any other fish?

Aggressive toward anthias and other planktivores, such as chromis and fairy and flasher wrasses.
