Disposing of GSP

I have some GSP on a rock that has some aiptaisa on it. This is one of the few things I moved to a tank upgrade, and I just can’t have aiptaisa in the new tank already. So I pulled the rock. I have nowhere to keep it as I wait and see if I can kill all the aiptaisa. In other words, that rock is never going back in the tank. I just need to, umm, put the GSP down. So how do I do it? Something feels wrong about just tossing it. Do I euthanize it somehow? Thanks.

Throw it in a container of 10% bleach solution for a few days; there will be no organic life left intact on the rock!

If you mean you want a humane way to kill it, you can put it in the freezer for the night. Also, remember that they don't have a brain, so they don't experience anything.

If you mean you want a humane way to kill it, you can put it in the freezer for the night. Also, remember that they don't have a brain, so they don't experience anything.
