Hello everyone, I have right around two an a half week before I leave on vacation. I'm trying to build a RO/DI container. Here's some info on the acrylic and will 3/8 be enough. I also need to know about drilling the acrylic and putting some sort of 1/4 tubing in the hole. Thanks
Tank Information

material = Acrylic
Tank Height = 16"
Tank Width = 12"
Tank Length = 18 "
Acrylic Thickness = 3/8"
Approximate Gallons = 15
 
You can pickup small bulkheads from a home improvement store or make your own using Electric conduit fittings. You need a float valve and a way to secure it in the sump. Acrylic is best drilled with a Step-bit or a Uni-bit
 
yeah I have a float valve already in my sump just needing the container. I really don't want to spend $200 on this container like most ppl want if they build it for you.
 
Ive seen large kitchen containers used. You can make a bulkhead out of two John Guest fittings with an O-ring. Easy enough.
 
3/8 is plenty thick enough. I would use cell cast. Drill it, tap it, tape it. Taps and bits are cheap.
