DIY Custom Sump

I’m building a custom sump and wondering

if I’m going down the correct path.

Any feedback and suggestions on my plans would be appreciated

Looks good. One thing you might want to consider is light from your fuge may hit your skimmer and then grow algae inside the cone.

Good point, I could use black acrylic for the fuge and have the light closer to the fuge to block out that light ?

And a shade on the light. That should do the trick.

Looks like I will not be able to fit 4 chambers, do you think I could make chamber one bigger and put the skimmer infront of the filter sock ?
