Diy ideas for aquavitro skimmer lids CO2 scrubber

Hello,
there's already a large hole in the top of aquavitro division skimmer cup lids. What materials would be best to diy a seal on top of the cup and a possible barb / hole , to hold a tube for CO2 scrubber recirculation?

You may want to do a search for a "silicone hole plug" that you could use if you can find the correct size to match up to the hole. These may be available at your local hardware store or online. Good luck with your search!
