I run my ro/di straight to my auto top off float valve. I made my own reactor for kalk simply by running a line in and down to the bottom fed from ro/di and the outlet to the float valve. Has been running for four months and have gone back and fourth if I like it or not.
The good: it works, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Easy to add kalk via union on top to open.
The bad: it seems I have to put a lot in it for it to be effective, it needs shaken once a week. Bulky
I have run drip and ato before this setup and even considered modding tlf reactor to go inline with my ro/di fed ato.
I'll update with changes and be glad to answer any questions you may have.
