DIY Lid Recommendations

Looking for feedback on DIY lid builds that have worked well.

I made a lid out of screen framing and aquatic mesh for my 25 cube that works well. Need to make something for a 4x2 rimless frag tank. Planning to use a screen frame and mesh for this tank unless there are better options out there.

I used a DIY screen door kit for mine, and it worked perfectly!

I'm currently toying around with screen and egg crate, egg crate can easily be modified around all my equipment and then be opened up in middle under the lights for screen. Not sure if it will work yet but seems promising.
