DIY reef rock - what is the best way to do it?

Hello Everyone,

I just got a light for my 300L tank. Next is the aquascape.
I'd choose DIY because of the dry rocks' prices, besides if I can manipulate the shape, then it gives space for more creativity.
I know that some curing will be needed 2-3 months usually, but the swifter the cure the better it is.

The question is as the title says.

The best way might depend on what you're trying to do with the aquascape, but here are some ways that have been used successfully for various scapes/kinds of scapes:
