I have an IM 25g Lagoon AIO tank. I have an extra 2.5g cube left over from my freshwater shrimp. What would be the best way to turn the cube into a refugium/macro algae tank for the 25g? What would I need to do this?

I used some cheap 1/2” pvc elbows and some barb fittings to create a little overflow and return. It will be in the 2nd rear compartment

The siphon will be controlled by a ball valve, and I made sure to make the hole just enough below the surface in case of a power outage, it won’t drain the tank enough to overflow the refugium. The return will have a check valve to prevent back siphon as well.

I will be putting it in one of my lower chambers of my stand, lighted with a refuge light and timed with a little kitchen timer.

Let me know if you have any questions.
