So I had a dust collector in the closet. The dreaded Seaclone! I was looking to make a refugium with a HOB filter, but realized the box for the FLUVAL was to small and I seen at a LFS selling these cylinders with a pump for $180 for a small one and $250 for a large one.
Here is my DIY project. Taking what was old and making it new again. This could be highly beneficial and the natural way of removing phosphates to help maybe put a stop to my GHA problems.

Just a quick update. I always struggled with pH & phosphates.
pH was 8.0. Now 8.4
Phosphates were 0.25. With phosguard it went down to 0.024. With cheato reactor it is now at 0.0!
I can already see me live rock coming back into view. Need to do a good water change tomorrow and finally maybe get rid of this GHA problems. Wish me luck!
