Any one here have a diy stand for a 60g cube (2’x2’).
Can u pls show me pics of the stand and the dimensions and type of wood u used and any other materials needed??
Pls help! I need to build a stand for my 60g cube.

Best to use 4x4 post for the corners framed up with 2x4 and if you want to go crazy then get some metal "L" brackets. A sheet or two of 1/2 inch plywood and a box of 3 inch deck screws. You can go cheap and glue a trash bag for waterproof but it will tear so get a pattern of linoleum and glue that to the top to let water not stand on the wood. A few hinges or even a rail guide system for the door.
Dimensions are a personal thing try to find a level that might allow a sump or auto top off space but only tall enough for you to get easy access to the top without a stool. Also a small spot for stuff to set to the side couldn't hurt.

Ok thnx guys! Any more inputs?

Im gonna use all 2x4’s what size screws will I need?

Use a Kreg Jig for pocket holes and some wood glue
