Hey all,

Pretty naive question, but I couldn't find anything on the internet dealing with possible leakage of nasty trace elements into the water. Is cyanoacrylate only superglue non reactive with PVC? I glued some diffuser grid and pvc tubes together to hold my clarisea roller.

I know that some over the self cold welding chemicals can slowly degrade the plastic and cause issues with filtration and toxicity down the line. I just want to be 100% safe before throwing anything in the tank that I cannot definitively rule out in terms of danger.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply!

yeah I was just making sure that superglue and pvc specifically didn’t have a reaction on contact that could affect the system down the road
