DIY stand

Hey everyone! I need some advice. I built this stand for my 120g, which turned out great. Now I am currently putting in reed switches on the doors for the lights to come on when any door is open. My question is that on the reed switches the wire terminals are exposed, is there anyway to “seal” them from eventually rusting?

ah yes! Silicone would work good, for some reason that one escaped me
