Here is a link to my sump I just completed. The two pvc pipes will bypass part of the water and slow the flow thru the fuge. Havent really tested the flow in it yet. The operating capacity will be about 25 gallons and total capacity is about 35 gallons. Its 30" long 19" deep & 14" tall. Let me know what you think.

great work, i see the pvc pipes as being a potential pita in the future as a possible nitrate factory.

You are slowing the flow through the fuge, but I would recommend to put a powerhead in there to keep anything in the water suspended, otherwise you'll have a major buildup of detritus. Keep the water going into it slower, but give it a good turnover rate. :)

Looks great!

i have thought about putting a mini power head in it but in the skimmer section. i didnt show it but there are 2 1/4" holes drilled in the left side fuge divider wall about midway down to help mix the water coming into the fuge area.

i'm also planning to plumb together several new tanks as frag station. Definitely getting some ideas here. Thanks!

I can regulate all the flow thru the sump. I have gate valves for the 2 tubes but 1000 gph is to much going thru the sump.
