DIY tubing holder....

Trying to figure out a way to mount my ATO tubing to the top of my rimless AIO tank, I saw a neat idea a while ago but I can't come across it again. So all you DIY gurus let me see what you use to mount yours.. I know I can just buy a tube holder online but that's so blazae ..LOL

Do you have access to a 3D printer and able to use 'Google Sketchup'?

I have a few designs already, but they would need to be tailored to your tank.

Get a piece of 1/8" acrylic, cut to the size you want. Use a mapp gas torch or similar to heat the acrylic and bend it into the desired shape. Us a drill to cut holes for tubing. I also drilled holes to use zip ties to hold the tubing in place.

I used a piece of plywood that was the same thickness as the rim of my tank to bend it to shape. Project took about 20 min.

Dont put the acrylic directly in the flame. Use the heat about a half inch past the visible flame to heat it up in a back and forth motion along the area to be bent. Use the pliers to hold onto the acrylic as it gets hot!!

Tunze makes a clamp for their osmolators that will do the job for you.
You need the clamp to go on your tank 0102.450 9,60 EUR
and the tubing clamp 5000.240 1,70 EUR

You can get a nice acrylic one for like $8 on amazon. You can't build one half as nice for $20. Just get one of those -- They're airline tubing holders, works perfect for doser tubes. If the hole needs to be bigger, drill it out a little. Easy, cheap, nice.
