Hi there,

was wondering if calcium reactors have to be clear? I’ve got a great working diy design for one using RO canisters however struggling to find the clear tube of suitable price.

I get the advantage of immediately knowing where your media is at but surely lifting the lid and just checking does the same thing.

regards Duzzy

No need for them to be clear. As you said, it’s primarily so you can get a handle on how the media is doing.
