I just noticed that my purple eyed moonstone had some damage on the top left side. Also the bam bams don't really look too happy either. (Not sure if I'm just paranoid)
Do green star polyps sting, or release any chemicals that may be causing this? Thanks

I'd say more like "out grow". The growth being quicker then most coral, gsp will suffocate the surrounding coral.

pretty much all corals are able to sting other corals to some extent. Its just a matter of which coral has the stronger sting when they come in contact. there will usually be a winner and a loser. If stings are pretty much the same strength, they will have a draw and just continue to spread. Then it becomes a matter of which coral can out grow the other, over shadow it, and suffocate it.
