Hey guys,

I have an 8G tank that I just put a refuge on. Can you tell me if I have it correct? I had to kinda jam the cable on top of it to hold it down else it was trying to fall into my sump...

Also I currently have the fuge light set to turn on as soon as the main tanks lights go out. Then it goes off 12 hrs later. Is this too long to keep the light on?

It's really hard to see from your picture exactly how your fuge is set up. As for lighting goes you can leave it on however long you want, personal preference. People usually have it on opposite the display lights to stable ph, some leave it on 24/7, so if thats what your wanting to achieve then your good.

You should and can run your fuge light the whole time your DT lights are off, won't hurt anything.
Also, can't tell from that pic what ya got set up.

Thats looking inside the HOB filter. Theres a 10W halogen light attached to a cord I have stuffed down from the top.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
