Do I have to feed these corals? What corals are these.

Frogspawn and birdsnest. Can't tell the middle one. Picture is blurry. Birdsnest needs to be at the top of the tank in high light and high flow. No direct feeding required but supplements in the water helps feed corals.

Edit. My bad last one is duncan. My eyes are going.

They don’t “need” to feed but will definitely benefit esp. 1&3. Large meaty like mysis. Duncans in particular love to eat.

The middle is the same as the first. So the Birdsnest should be higher up witch is the 3rd pic?

No I did not see it clearly. It's a duncan. Midbtank moderate flow. No direct feeding needed but does help if you do it.

Yeah I think you said it is a Duncan. I am dosing calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. But I am not feeding them with Andy frozen food.

I use frozen. Direct feed with a baster a couple times a week. Make sure flow is off for 15-20 mins to let them grab and eat.

Or can I feed them the same frozen food I feed my fish?

Looking more closely I think the middle one may be a Goniopora. Small particulate food is best for these.

I use a mix of mysis, plankton and one other frozen that I vary . Feed the fish this but lps like frogs/torches and Duncan’s that have good sized mouths will eat it as well. Just gently squirt right above them. Also Micromussa/Acans and other large mouthed corals will eat this.

Ah, ok. Blurry hard to tell. Frogs are one of my favs as well as Duncans.

You shouldn't be dosing anything on a new tank with first corals just weekly water changes.

My frogspawn loves to eat the film algae from the glass when it comes off in a sheet. Mine doesn't care to eat much otherwise.

Duncans are fun to feed, mine eat a ton of lps pellets. And the ocasional large chunks that don't get eaten of Rods Food that the fish leave behind.
