Do I have too much rock?

Is this too much rock for my 40 gallon long I feel as if my flow might be hindered by my aquascape. Currently running an ai gyre and one ai Nero on the back

Yeah, that’s actually pretty light amount compared to what I had. I mean if you’re happy with it and the tank is happy with I’d just leave it. After a certain point it’s more about aesthetics than anything else once you get the minimum needed

As stated above... Definitely not to much for function; from here, the form (ascetics) will be what you like visually.

I think you will be okay, if you can, just upgrade to a stronger power head and clean your tank.

Not too much at all IMO, in fact there's room for more if you want. (I like the old style rock walls)

(This is my second 150, not fully back on line yet, but the rock is already 'percolating' and doing its thing. Lol.)
