I only have a biocube Have been looking at hydros and such but too expensive gotta save for it and such but for such a small tank Im voting against getting it it already has a I l inkbird wifi heater controller I only have softies and a few LPS like 2

I have a camera that I can look at the inkbird while I'm am not home which is rarely.not at work now so home every day.and the Inkbird is on a wifi plug if I see the temp to high I can manually turn it off

Just using all for reef to keep my alk at 8-9 currently 9.1last test on hanna I already have a expensive Milwaukee digital refractometer and it works awesome. So ime trying to justify the cost all the corals are on the cheaper end

Personally I dont think anybody really "needs" a controller. Sure it makes life easier but its not at all necessary imo. The big question is why do you want one? Are there certain features you like? Personally for smaller tank I dont think its worth it but that's just me.

I have my 11 gallon cube fully automated with Hydros. My main reason was for when I travel for work. No one here is interested in it, so they won’t take care of it. I even have it setup for daily auto water changes of 2% ~ 575ml. It’s expensive, but it’s a necessary toy for me.

Just salinity temptureand and ph monitoring mostly salinity. Ph I don't really care too much. Can a hydros replace the inkbird with its temp sensor
I got rid of my Inkbird and my Hydros is doing everything through the XP8. It can do everything you want it to do.
