can i use a sock, or a nylon bag or something like that? those silk bags they give u at stores instead of plastic, and cut holes in it?

They make them one size. Buy the ankle ones, cheaper you can find. But be careful they tear easily if they get caught on something sharp.

If you don't need it, maybe cut a strip the right size and use hot glue, or better (but harder to change or modify) would be super glue.
