Looks like my bristletooth tang has acquired a nick. My question is should I treat immediately or wait and see if it heals on its own. Suggestions?

Thank you! This was my initial course of action but there are people here much more experienced than myself and I am always open to learn somthing new.

Kerp an eye on it but do acquire either seachem kanaplex or Maracyn 2 on hand should it develop bacterial issues
Saltwater fish have the ability to heal quickly and on their own

Watch it for signs of secondary bacterial infection: increase in size, spreading to new locations, increased redness of deepening of the lesion.
