Do Longfin Bannerfish Eat Snails?

Do Longfin Bannerfish eat snails? I keep introducing snails to the tank (310 gallon) and they seem to disappear within days. I often see the bannerfish pecking at the snails as they move across the sand and try to turn them over with their long snout. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!!

I did some quick searching and found a few sources saying they will eat small invertebrates. So I would say that he views the snails as an expensive snack.
