My RODI topoff is heated. Pump 25g to my mixing Brute(which has wheels). Have a heater and a 400gph pond pump in there on the bottom pointed up. Water is already at temp, so start pump, drop in salt, put lid on, and let mix overnight. Usually get around to water change the next night.

My tanks are all marked at 5, 10, 15, and 20 gallons. Have another pump and long enough hose to pump from tank directly into sink. Then pump new water from Brute to tank.

As close to automated as I can get for now.

I mix my saltwater with a powerhead in a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours before I conduct a water change. Works like a charm!

Mix long enough with an old Mag 9.5 to get the pH, salinity and temperature close to the display and use it right away. Normally less than an hour.

Always keep 5 gal bucket with some salt water, when I use that up i mix up another bucket... usually only throw a maxi jet in for initial mix. 1 Gal water change for my 7gal volume ( 10 Gallon Tank ) weekly / bi weekly depending if I feel the tank needs it. I got an 850 Hydor in there so it keeps water moving, some caulerpa and a good sized mangrove tree I'm hoping is providing enough oxygen.

I mix mine in a 30 gallon trash container with a maxi-jet 1200. I do daily water changes of 3 gallons per day (150 gallon tank) using a Stenner Double Headed Peristaltic pump from Locke Well & Pump Company (Locke Well & Pump - Pump service orlando repair pumps sales) in Orlando, FL. Best price I could find. System takes 3 gallons out from the front of the sump and puts 3 gallons at the discharge side where the pump takes the water from the sump to the tank. Every three months or so, I'll do a regular 30 gallon change just for the heck of it.
