I personally never kept a log for my reef tank. Maybe this is something I should have done better, but I generally would just keep a mental note of everything. Are you keeping a journal or a reef log of everything that goes on in your tank?

I don't keep any single journal.
I do keep separate Notes (synced between iPhone and my MacBooks) where I track major changes to equipment and/or settings like lighting and flow, plus some for different dosing experiments and one for livestock additions.

For weekly(ish) testing, I keep a printed table on clipboard where I hand write results,,, then take a picture and save to my computer when page is full, just in case I want to refer back to anything in the past.

I have a massive Excel file that I log all of my tests, both home and ICP.

I also, log any changes: Light adjustments, livestock additions, gear changes, water changes, etc.

Yes, I use my own app to keep track of all my parameters, water changes, QT medications, equipment updates, livestock etc.
