Does anyone have an adult Scopas Tang?

Probably 4”-bothers no one

blue tang was in first but never had issues with him

Again, following rule of thumb adding tangs with different fin and body shape

Honestly I do not see very many fish get to wild size in captivity, even in 10k gallon tanks. In the home aquarium for the most part a 8" foxface one spot getting to 7" is likely tops. I've seen niger triggers get their full 12" wild size, even in a tank as small as a 180g, but thats an exception. Most fish settle into about 2/3rds their wild size. Many people exaggerate on size, you know....

That’s interesting to know. One member has a 26-year old Yellow Tang that’s maybe 5-6”.

TimFish also has a 25-year old Purple Tang that’s probably a bit over 7”.

Both are older than me.

I’ve had it for a few months now, got it as a pretty big specimen
