Does MicroBacterClean help with hair algae

Hi guys
Hey everyone, I’m thinking about trying MicroBacterClean and MicroBacter7 from brightwell for my reef tank which has lots of hair algae and diatom. How has it worked for you guys?can you share your experience!

Some background info would be helpful, mostly tank age, a pic or two.

It sounds like this is a new tank, to which these things are just part of the uglies.
