I’m not sure if it spreads by popping but I went from a little patch of BA to 3 patches in, like… no time. Now I have like 6-7 patches all around the edges where it would be a pain to get em out. They popped up on my Nero5, on the return, behind some Xenia I have on the back wall, and now some have started appearing in my zoa garden.

I bought a couple emerald crabs to start lowering the BA numbers and I haven’t seen either one since I put them in 2-3 weeks ago. I have a big coral banded shrimp that I suspect ate them…but that’s just a hunch. He lunges at fish all of the time.

I’m not sure what to do outside of buying like 5-6 emerald crabs snd see what happens. I have a refugium to keep phosphates in an optimum range and heard Vibrant will kill the BA, but will also kill the chaeto and other macro algae.

Any advice?
