I have 4 Ecotech Vortec MP40 power heads on my system. Presently I am using Reeflink for use of it’s feedmode.

I am looking at using the GHL controller to set them on a timed decrease in speed so I can run an auto feeder.

The question is when I enable use of the GHL controller can I still use Reeflink feed mode and the battery back up functions on my Ecotech pumps?

Plan b is I just shut down the outlets during feed time And let the battery back up run the pumps minimally during feeding.

I bought the GHL Vortec controller but haven’t switched to using it yet.

It's either one or the other. Either the ReefLink is the master or the P4 is the master with the GHL Vortech controller.
If you want to dial-down the flow during a P4 feed pause, the GHL Vortech controller accessory should be used.
