They should puff up quite a bit when they settle in so that you don't really see the ribs too much. If light is too bright I find they will often retract quite tight into the skeleton. Careful of flow that is too strong from one direction from the side as it can cause recession along the outer edge. They are also prone to getting a little damage in shipping on the outer edge so keep an eye on it.
Do you have any updated pictures? They can take a few days to settle in.
I dose live phytoplankton daily. I use Red Sea Nutrion AB twice a week. That can definitely recover. Make sure it has ideal conditions and stable water parameters. I'd also recommend dosing phyto and amino acids so the coral has food to intake whenever it wants. I've used Red Sea and AquaForest Amino acids and I've seen great feeding responses from coral, however any amino acid should work as long as it's for reef tanks.
Then you're doing everything right! Just give it some time and it'll look great in no time!I dose live phytoplankton daily. I use Red Sea Nutrion AB twice a week.

If you ever notice it's feeder tentacles out, that's when you should feed it small pieces of shrimp.I can't give him shrimp because his mouth isn't open. Is he hungry?
You could try a little piece in the tank an hour after the lights go out and see if feeding tentacles come out. If they do you can give it a little bit.I can't give him shrimp because his mouth isn't open. Is he hungry?
