No an Alaskan Malamute. Does look like a Tibetan Mastiff because he's the woolly coat type of Mal, but he doesn't have the droopy jowls like they do. He was a rescue I adopted last March. The owners were an elderly couple, when the husband died the wife really couldn't care for him and he was chained outside most of the time. The shelter finally coaxed the woman to give him up, his fur was a matted mess when they took him in. I drove from NY to Virginia in one day to adopt him. He was worth it, such a sweet dog.
He’s a lucky dog!

My GSD does not really pay much attention to the tank other than to try and play / distract me while I'm doing water changes or other maintenance tasks. She has high drive so always thinks its play or work time. In fact we had a GSD years ago that acted similarly. In 2000 with one of the original Neptune units and X10's they had a terminal port on it. Anyway I was connecting my serial cable to it to get the data when I stepped away for a minute to get some water or something. Anyway my GSD at that time was just as busy and when I got back I found a bunch of teeth marks on the unit. Oddly enough it was still working outside the teeth marks :)

I later called Neptune for something when I mentioned if they offered a case replacement. They asked why, I said what happened, and they promptly replied that their Great Dane did the same darn thing :) Anyway it was my fault for leaving on the ground and her unattended :D

Yes to them I probably looks like a bunch of new toys when we are doing maintenance! I took a powerhead out to clean it the other day and my poodle must have thought it was a weird ball so she grabbed it and ran dragging the cord behind her

Lol. Thanks for posting - made me giggle although I feel your guilting for laughing at your expense :D

Mine will come sit right in front of me when I’m watching the tanks, but he just stares straight up at me wanting to play, not the tank. In fact most times when I’m doing maintenance he puts his fetch toy on top of my feet repeatedly trying to get me to play.

My Standard poodle, Roman...It seems like he won't care for awhile, then he all of a sudden notices them again...
