I looked at my local Petco ad online and they are only doing 10g, 20g and 29g. They do have 40g breeders, 55’s and 75’s at half off though. I think I’ll stop in after work today and see what they have.

Just ask a manager. They are known to make exceptions on standard tanks regardless of size for this sale.

I want to pretend like I didn't see this. That is an awesome deal. Then again in SoCal your electricity costs are so high I should count my blessings.

I Agree- my petco got a custom 330 Gallon tank that the person who ordered it never picked up- the Deposit was already put down so I just payed the rest (250$) and loaded it up! The tank is now a shark tank- the dimensions are 96x50x16

Last year my local petco (temecula, ca) said the dollar per gallon sale was just extended to include the 75 gallon tanks. Previously it only applied to tanks up to 55 gallons.

Do we think the petcos are actually different or some stores are just misinformed on what the sale includes.

In Fayetteville NC we just got a new petco. Their sale only goes up to 29 gallons on the dollar per gallon sale. They do have half off on the 40 gallon breeders. Thinking about picking up a 40 breeder and drilling it and getting a 20 long for a sump. At least they have a small selection of saltwater livestock. It's a shame that they don't seem to know anything about it, or how to care for it. They've only been open a few weeks. When I go there and look at their saltwater tanks I find myself wondering if the marine livestock I keep seeing disappear weekly is being sold or dying off.
