Hi All,
I purchased a few pieces of Tonga branch which had been recently removed from an established tank and let dry for a month. I cleaned them good and let them cute for two weeks with multiple water changes. Ammonia reading from the can is in the 2-4 range and now they have the beginnings of a green coat. Does this mean they are now sufficiently cured and ready to be moved to my FOWLR tank? Advice appreciated! Thanks!

I would say that if your still reading ammonia then no they are not cured. Did you add some bottle bacteria as well? We don't want to shock the fishes gills even thought it seems like a somewhat established tank that fish are surviving. I could be wrong but I think I would give it a little more time. You could have taken them from the established tank into yours probably with no problems unless they were already sitting out for a while.
