Hey guys, my tank has been cycling for two weeks. This is my first tank, and from my research before starting I always thought that the cycle was over once both ammonia and nitrite are 0ppm and when you add 2ppm of ammonia it goes back to 0 in a day. However, is it different now, that when ammonia hits 0 you are considered cycled? My ammonia has been 0ppm for 3 days, and nitrite has been going down steadly for about a week. People said that I can add fish as ammonia is at 0 and nitrite isn't harmful to marine life. Is it safe to add fish?

Worth testing with the ammonia test, add 2 ppm and if clear within 24 hours, good to go, why test with a fish when you know the ammonia test.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
