After I scrubbed my rocks almost free of algae, I noticed a healthy amount of algae growing in my sump on the walls and on my skimmer pump (which I will need to clean off weekly)
So I guess this is good that it is growing in my sump instead of my Display... I do not have a picture right now but I can see new patches of hair algae growing almost everyday in new spots in my sump....hopefully it stays there and eventually dies off.

Have you thought about the use of peroxid?
I haven't tried it, but am thinking about it...

I tried it once on a plug of zoas that had some hair algae on them..I just wanted to see if it actually worked.
It woked on the algae but it also worked on the zoas. Not sure if I did it right but I went off recommendations I found on here. I just want to stay away from peroxide for now.
