My pump adapter broke so I brought a new brass one from Home Depot. I thought only copper will kill stuff but I was wrong.brass is equally as lethal as copper. Couple days later my 3 kenya trees ($150 plus they are very juicy ones) started bleaching (losing skin) and day later they turned black and I ask ai and learned that brass is also bad for aquarium use. So please don’t use brass or copper. I going to do water changes now :(

Yeah, metals like that will leach into your aquarium. It's why rust is harmful to our tanks.
