Dosing containers

What is the normal size for dosing containers? I'm building my own and want make sure i make the correct size. I have 4" and 7" acrylic tubing.

Like the others said it depends how much you'll think you dose. I'd recommend if your making them to build a lid in the lid if that makes sense. The aim with that is so you don't have to remove the dosing tube when refilling. Usually when the tubes removed air gets in the line and the lines will need to be primed full again so your not dosing air.
