Just to stress the dosing amounts...the chart is mls per ever 25 gallons of tank water. You have a Red Sea Reefer 450, with is 92 gallons. This isn't rocket science, so I'd round that out to 100 gallons and simply multiply the chart doses by 4. So if your nitrate level is below ten ppm, but above 1 or 2, you would be dosing (2mls x 4 =) 8 mls of NOPOX.

Thanks you this is very helpful. Just to be clear is this a daily or weekly dose? Ive read the directions for NO-POx, the chart you posted, and what you've written here and they switch between the two.

So I want to dose 2-3 ml per 25 gallons for 8-12 ml total dose, but is this daily or weekly?

Also for back ground nitrates are ~50 ppm and phosphates are at .17 ppm, got a long way to go. Ideally below 5 ppm nitrate and .05 ppm phosphate.

Not sure if this matters but when I used their calculator I didn't take it at face value but rather what I calculated my total water volume to be. So 210 gallon tank, 200 lbs of sand, 160 or so lbs or rock, 16 gallon sump, and used another calculator to estimate the water then used the NoPox instructions. Not sure if that makes a difference but I figured even though my tank is 210 gallons there isn't 210 gallons of water in there...

Also thank you @redfishbluefish - I wish I saw this earlier in the week before I ordered another round of NoPox. I found it depleted my phosphate quicker than my nitrates. Which is what I was actually after anyway since I'm using dry rock, Pukani. I stopped after it got close and let it go about its merry way only to have everything creep back up there out of control. Pukani is really bad rock I think at the end of the day unless you mature it outside the tank forever and a day.

Mind if I ask how you are dosing yours?
