How bad is bubble algae?The green bubble thing is green bubble algea. You need to remove the rock and remove it without popping it if you can. If it pops in the tank it will spread. If you pop it outside of the tank, you can scrub the rock and rinse it off to remove any spores and algea pieces.

If you have a foxface, emeral crab, a very greedy tang, it may eat them. If not, it's like every other unwanted algae. Grows where ever it wants and become unsightly. Also, those bubbles can get HUGE. I think I have seen them the size of golf balls.How bad is bubble algae?
