I’m starting my tank tomorrow I bought Dr Tims one and only and I was wondering (might be a dumb question) but is it ok to cycle it with live sand and live rock in the tank?

Thank you

If you have live rock and live sand, why are you cycling the tank?

Stop adding ammonia. You can add the live rocks and sand. If after adding the rock the ammonia is still 0, you can add fish.

Don’t worry about nitrites. It’s not toxic in saltwater tanks. You can add fish and nitrites will go to 0 in a few weeks by itself.

This isn't an emergency. You can use it to help the cycle with live rock and live sand.
