Drilling a tank to sump question

Hey everyone question I just got a used Red Sea 250 max gen 1 all in one tank. My question is can I drill the bottom to convert it to a sump. Does anyone know what glass it is?

I'd be surprised if the bottom wasn't tempered.

Doesn't that tank come with back connections for a cannister filter to be hooked up – better, IMO, to leverage those for a sump instead, if you're going that route.
