Looking into various options for drip trays to place under the sump.

The most affordable option seems like it might be a kennel crate mat like this one:
Amazon product

The other option is to go with something more rugged/durable looking, but are the ridges on the bottom a problem with lots of weight overriding them?

Places like Uline or other industrial supply often sell these types of trays and may be worth looking. Also if you have local hydroponics stores they will often have very shallow trays that may work. none of them probably cheaper than the kennel tray, but may be a bit taller and more useful depending on what you want.

Goal would be more to protect the wood of the stand from any small drips, like taking a filter sock out and having it run on the drip tray than the actual stand, so hopefully wouldn't need anything too significant from a capacity standpoint.
