Specifically when it comes to Bulk Reef Supply's Black Friday sales- do the deals remain all week (so long as the item remains in stock) or are different things only on sale on certain days? For example, I need some new filter socks and right now they're BOGO as a doorbuster. Will they still be BOGO next week when hopefully other things I need might go on sale? Or do I need to buy them now, and wind up having five or six separate orders with all the different things I need by the time Cyber Monday rolls around? I need a sale schedule! :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I think the door busters are only far that day.

Not sure on duration but the filter socks bogo is pretty common… not just a Black Friday thing. So they will be back at some point.

Assuming they have give aways, the more separate orders, the more chances to win. I didn’t check if they had give aways or if that started yet.

If you have free shipping met, I would just order.

They had one last night. I think there's several others.

ACK! Thank you! I went ahead and ordered the filter socks since midnight approaches and I'm about to run late for work!
Ummmmm. Midnight? And your running late! How do you handle overnight shifts! As a kid I was a 5AM get up kid. As an old(ish) man, I'm a 4AM dude. Good on ya....I couldn't do it!

Believe it or not, I love working nights! There's no bosses looking over our shoulders, and the vibes are so much better than the day shifts'! One drawback though is that I don't get as much time to enjoy my tank- just a few hours between the lights coming on and my going to bed.

Theres a spot to find the event sponsors on the site too

I wonder if you have to be present on the stream to take advantage. Because I am definitely still asleep at that time!

I can see that. Currently I have a boss that is not a micromanager. He'll let me know what he wants done, but will listen to me if I disagree (yesterday in point actually). Generally we're on the same page. If he disagrees with my disagreement, I'll let him know the ramifications, I do what he says and he covers me with what goes wrong on the other side of the equation. It's a great relationship.

Why don't you run your lights when you're home? There's no rule against it......

I seriously considered it, but there's a lot of natural light in that room. It'd be a pain to black out half the house to give the tank a true "nighttime" photoperiod.

My mother worked nights for almost 40 years and loved it. She said it was because she doesn't play well with others.
