Duncan coral

I have some Xenia growing and I need to place a coral that will keep the Xenia from growing past it. I’ve read you can use a Duncan coral, is this possible or is there a better coral to place between two corals to prevent one from overtaking the other ?

In theory it might impede your xenia for a while, but if the xenia loves your tank, it will find many ways around. The stuff will even let loose sometimes. Like GSP, it is very difficult to manage.
