I have two duncan colonies that have been doing really well in my tank. However recently I have noticed that they are getting some dark spots on them. I'm not really sure why or what is causing this.

I have them rather high up in the tank as you can see in the picture but they have been there for a while and the lighting hasn't changed. All the parameters in the tank are good and have been consistent.
